SHORT INNER WORK EXERCISE FOR OUR ANIMAL RELATIONS
Preparation: Center Inwardly
To begin the inner work, find a comfortable spot, close your eyes, and relax. Take several deep, cleansing breaths. If you have a personal routine you ordinarily follow when centering inwardly such as a stress reduction visualization, a mantra, etc., you can do that as well. Some people center inwardly by closing their eyes, getting into a prayerful posture; or just by folding their hands in a prayerful attitude. Some people first visualize that they're completely surrounded by Divine White Light....Others arrange themselves in the lotus position, or visualize that they're connected from the base of their spine to Earth's center by a golden cord to ground themselves to Earth before entering the meditative state. Use whatever method works best for you.
Steps 1 and 2:
Grounding Ourselves in our Planetary Presence
and Planetary Togetherness
Once relaxed and centered inwardly, visualize in your mind’s eye, an image of Earth within the backdrop of Cosmic space... Hold this image in awareness... Begin to get a sense of all of humankind, now collectively focused on the larger Planetary/Cosmic dimension of our existence...Stay focused on this image of Earth as seen from space... Begin to actually feel your presence on Earth ....Our collective presence... When it feels right to you, proceed to the next step.
Still relaxed and centered inwardly, maintain and deepen this sense of all of us collectively focused on our planetary presence... We are now experiencing it together, as all our habitual busywork and pre-occupations come to an end... We collectively take this time to literally feel our togetherness on our home planet... As we deepen our focus on our planetary togetherness we center as well, on how much we care for each other...value each other... and appreciate each other... All our previous internalized borders and boundaries dissolve, as we now stand together in our planetary presence and togetherness... Bonds of affection and caring for each other now unite us as one.... We feel our perspective widening and expanding beyond our ego... beyond our physical body, to become ONE with this collective centering on our planetary presence and togetherness...We feel ourselves in At-One-Ment with all of humankind simultaneously, as we collectively center ourselves in this more expanded sense of place, and unity. When it feels right to you, proceed to the next step.
Step 3: The Specific Energy Expression
Focus in your mind's eye on all animals everywhere. Visualize them running across African plains... in rainforests.... on rugged, remote mountaintops... The cats and dogs and other creatures who share our homes... Those in feedlots.... in labs.....We send our Love out to them all.... We surround them and saturate them with brilliant, beautiful Divine White Light and Love energy....All humans everywhere are now focused on honoring all animals wherever they may be... We celebrate the sacredness of their lives... We honor them... As our intensifying Love for them grows stronger and stronger within us; we begin to mentally repeat the following lines for as many times as it feels right to do so:
"We love, honor and respect our animal relations
We love our animal relations very, very much"
Our increasing Love for all our animal relations pours forth out of each human heart, surrounding and permeating all animals on Earth with subtle-energy bonds of Love and Caring... We collectively celebrate their lives... We rejoice in their presence here with us on Earth... We care for them always and everywhere. .
Keep mentally repeating the bold-faced passage below for as long as it feels right to do so.

We love our animal relations very, very much"
Alternate between focusing on all humans everywhere centered on our Love for all animals, with inwardly repeating the lines above.... On every landmass of our Earth, sense how all people have suspended their habitual busywork to come together in focused concentration on our great Love for our animal relations...We surround them with Divine White Light and Love energy... We honor them.... We appreciate them.... We love them... We love them all, very, very much.
Still relaxed, begin to become aware once again of your body and your physical surroundings. Take 3 or 4 deep, cleansing breaths... Slowly open your eyes... Sit in stillness for a few more moments to reflect on the inner work session you just completed. If you’d like to stay with the experience a little while longer, write down your feelings and any insights or images that came to you as you were engaged in the exercise, and any after-thoughts or ideas that might come to you concerning future sessions.
